03 Nov Waterdale Future Fund
In February 2011, WATERDALE received not for profit donor gift recipient status from the Australian Government, which allows any donations given to us over $2.00 to be tax deductable. Then, in July 2011, WATERDALE was recognised again by the Australian Taxation Office as a Tax Concession Charity. From this, the WATERDALE Future Fund was born.
The fund is WATERDALE’s first philanthropic venture, and was created to support WATERDALE’s three pillars of purpose and mission statement, whilst still being its own separate entity.
The Future Fund logo, which has been designed in conjunction with WATERDALE’s new logo, was launched earlier this year and is reflective of WATERDALE as an organisation; something that started out small, a group of friends who were all passionate about making positive theatrical experiences accessible to the wider community, to what WATERDALE is today, a youth run organisation that is comprised of a 14 person committee that has seen over 1200 volunteers help stage shows that have been seen by over 10,000 audience members.
WATERDALE is an organisation that is an important and vital part of the community. The Fund itself relies on the generous support of our patrons, friends and family of WATERDALE and of course, the wider community.
