WATERDALE – November/December 2011 President’s Note

Hi everyone,

It’s already reached that busy time of the year again, it’s almost December and Christmas will be hear before we know it. The Parade cast have been hard at work perfecting vocals for the show and I must say they’re really sounding amazing. Thank you very much to the whole cast, Artistic and Production teams, it’s going to be an incredible show. On Sunday I was up at rehearsal and the amazing costume co-ordinator extraordinaire Helen Ismail had the cast trying on their costumes and had bits of fabric and clothes on nearly every square inch of the place, it’s soo exciting to know everyone is going to look great too! Overall I’ve been soo impressed with everyone’s commitment and passion for the show!

The committee is also hard at work, we’ve got our Christmas Carols coming up in a couple of weeks, we’re busy planning 2012 and in the next few weeks we’ll be finalising our decision for the 2013 Major Musical! We’ve also got our Trivia Night coming up on January 29th hosted by our very own Kris Brown and James Terry!

With Parade just around the corner don’t forget to let us know if you’d like to volunteer and get involved whether its helping us out with set construction, being in the crew,  helping with hair and makeup or helping out for a night or two in front of house, email volunteer@waterdale.org.au

I hope to see you at a WATERDALE event soon!
