From “Essgee’s Pirates of Penzance’ to ‘Annie’, Waterdale has produced theatre and music theatre productions since 2006 in the Banyule and Whittlesea areas.
Our spirit of support and inclusiveness allows all members of the community to participate in great theatre, on and off the stage.
A Rich Legacy
We have been creating productions for over ten years and it takes a village.
Waterdale was established after starting off as a West Heidelberg youth group in 2004. In 2006 SPX Waterdale Players Inc was formed and then reborn as Waterdale Theatre Inc in 2017

Each Waterdale production involves acting, singing and dancing; but behind the scenes is a hive of activity including set building, makeup and hair, stage management, orchestra and front of house support.
